Meet Natacha Danbadan, a resident of Delta State, Nigeria

Natacha Danbadan is a resident of Delta state, Nigeria with a background in mathematics and a passion for making a positive impact through technology.

She was drawn to technology because of its potential to solve problems, improve lives, and offer financial security. She began her tech journey in 2019 as a Data Analyst before transitioning to Frontend Development in 2022 and becoming a part of the Women Techsters Fellowship.

Her progress in the Women Techsters Fellowship program has been remarkable. She has developed an impressive level of grit and resilience, tackling bugs and errors by herself and achieving several significant milestones. Natacha is particularly proud of how she has grown and become more confident in her abilities.

Working with her colleagues and participating in the program’s soft skills training have also been invaluable learning experiences for her. Over the course of the program, she has gained proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, DaisyUI, and ReactJS.

One of the biggest challenges that Natacha had to overcome during the program was not having access to a good laptop to work with. Despite this, she remained motivated and leaned in to learn as much as she could with the resources available.

Natacha is grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow in the program, as well as for the support of her facilitators and newfound friends. She plans to leverage her skills and experience to pursue a career in Frontend Development while also giving back by helping other newbies in the tech industry.

Through her journey in the program, Natacha has learned that no career pathway is easy, but perseverance and passion are crucial. She hopes to partner with Tech4Dev in the future to help support other women in the tech industry and empower them to chase their dreams.
