How to Apply for the Women Techsters Fellowship Class of 2025
The Women Techsters Fellowship is more than just a learning program, it’s a life-changing opportunity for women across Africa to kickstart their careers in tech. As a tuition-free program, it empowers women to gain in-demand tech skills, connect with industry mentors, and thrive within a supportive community. Over the course of a year, participants undergo six months of intensive virtual training followed by 6 months of practical work experience, that includes opportunities for internships, volunteering, freelancing, entrepreneurship, and mentoring. This ensures that participants gain hands-on experience and can apply their newly acquired skills in real-world scenarios.

Eligibility Criteria
- The Fellowship is open to women and girls between the ages of 16 and 40
- Residents of any of the following countries: Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Ethiopia, Egypt, DR Congo, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Algeria, South Sudan, Morocco, Angola, Mozambique, Madagascar, Rwanda, Zambia, Botswana, Liberia, Zimbabwe, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Eswatini (Swaziland), Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Seychelles, and Burundi.
- A functional device and reliable internet access.
- The ability to commit 20 hours per week to the program (approximately 4 hours daily).
- Basic digital literacy.
