I got a Free Microsoft Azure Certification Exam Voucher through the Digital Skills Nigeria Program

My name is Umanhonlen Gabriel, and I am a resident of Lagos state, Nigeria. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science which has equipped me with a strong foundation in programming and technology. My educational background has allowed me to understand the intricacies of computer systems and how they operate.

My journey with Tech4Dev began when I was actively researching ways to enhance my cybersecurity skills. I stumbled upon the Digital Skills Nigeria program while exploring various opportunities in the field of cybersecurity. What immediately caught my attention was Tech4Dev’s mission to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools to make a meaningful impact in the tech industry. This caught my attention because it aligns perfectly with my motivation to create awareness about cybersecurity.

The digital landscape is continually evolving, and the importance of safeguarding sensitive information and online activities has never been more crucial. I aspire to be a driving force in educating individuals and organizations about the importance of cybersecurity practices, helping them protect their digital assets and privacy effectively.

I applied for the Digital Skills Nigeria program with a strong desire to further develop my expertise in cybersecurity and make a difference in this ever-evolving landscape. The program’s curriculum and resources promised to equip me with the practical knowledge and hands-on experience I needed to contribute effectively to the field and fulfill my aspiration of educating others about online safety.

I was able to apply the skills I learned through the program in my job as a Security Operations Center (SOC) analyst. It gave me the opportunity to directly apply the skills and knowledge I gained in a professional setting, and it further fueled my passion for cybersecurity.

This experience has reinforced my commitment to promoting cybersecurity awareness and pursuing a career at the forefront of the industry. The motivation to learn an advanced digital skill is deeply rooted in the belief that learning is a lifelong journey. In the ever-evolving landscape of technology, there’s a continuous need to adapt, grow, and acquire advanced skills to stay relevant and effective. This belief resonates with my goals, motivation, and aspirations, which are centered around cybersecurity awareness and contributing to the advancement of technology.

The preparatory classes organized by Tech4Dev were incredibly insightful and interactive, providing hands-on guidance for the exam. I would rate them at 9.5 out of 10%. These classes played a significant role in my preparation and learning experience, and they were instrumental in helping me acquire advanced digital skills.

Getting a free voucher from Tech4Dev and Microsoft to write the AZ-104 Advanced certification exam was an amazing opportunity to earn a Microsoft Azure certification to establish my knowledge and skills in virtual networks and storage. I have taken the exam and passed. I am so thankful to Tech4Dev and Microsoft for this opportunity.
